We’re incredibly glad that you’ve decided to consider SAAV Prosthodontics for your future dental care. Our dentists and team members are excited to provide you and the community of Livonia a very high level of restorative care, as well as other services that help you maintain your oral health. If you’re ready to see us for your first appointment, you’ll find all the necessary information you need below to get started. This includes financing options, relevant forms and expectations for your first visit.
Once you arrive, we’ll ask you to fill out a visitor form and one of our dental assistants will welcome you. Then, you’ll be asked to have a seat in our waiting room. After you’ve been called in to one of our offices, they’ll ask you about your dental needs. This information will be relayed to one of our dentists and they will come see you momentarily. After performing a full mouth exam and capturing X-rays, we’ll provide a recommendation for treatment if needed. More complex cases require a second appointment where more detailed examinations can be performed.
New patient forms give us a chance to learn about your dental and medical needs in more detail. When you arrive, we’ll make sure to hand you the necessary patient forms to fill out before doing anything else. In it, you’ll be able to note all of your dental issues in more detail. Once completed, we’ll relay that information to the dentist so they can be better prepared to meet your needs.
If you have dental insurance, we’ll gladly file your claims on your behalf. Once filed, we’ll make sure that you get reimbursed for your treatment. Even though we are not in-network with any major dental providers, we do everything possible to make your dental treatments as affordable as possible, regardless of how simple or complex they may be. We’ll also guide you through the reimbursement process.
For those who do not have dental insurance, there are other methods that can help pay for your dental care. Third-party financing companies like CareCredit make paying for treatments more manageable, even if you’re trying to cover purely cosmetic treatments. These monthly installments often come with little to zero interest attached, so you don’t have to put off treatment you need (or want) just because you don’t have a dental insurance plan.
